V-Shaped Glued-Insultated Joint Rail

V-shaped glued-insulated joint rail was developed by our company for the purpose of
effectively restraining the generation of noise and flow, and providing a structure that
permits a relatively easy elimination of flow when it occurs.

Noise reduction and flow prevention

V-shaped glued-insulated joint rail has V-shaped joint structure, unlike a conventional joint perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rail, allowing a wheel to pass a joint part always staying on the top surface of the rail.
This way, it has such a structure as to reduce noise and prevent flow, and relatively easily eliminate the flow when it occurs.
Moreover, as the joint is V-shaped only at the rail head while at the rail foot it is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, an increase in the manufacturing cost is suppressed. As for the rail classification, the product is available for both 50kgN rail and 60kg rail.

A structure reducing the dropping quantity of wheel

With the conventional structure, a wheel passing a joint part drops at the insulating plate, while, with the V-shaped joint structure, a wheel passes a joint part staying always on top surface of the rail (transits gradually to the next rail), thus the dropping quantity is less smaller.
As a result, a reduction of noise and flow is possible.

Same strength as that of conventional joint

Similarly to the case with conventional joint, strength of the product meets the standard
values of JIS E 1125, whether or not Teflon is intercalated into the layers of Holdtite®.
